This 2022 Toyota GR86 built in Japan in November 2021 and delivered new at Fox Toyota of Cadillac (Michigan) on February 4, 2022 (straight after arrival at the dealership). It was immediately transported to Grand Rapids, Michigan by enclosed trailer and has been under the fastidious care of Fox Motorsports since new.
This Toyota GR86 is in excellent condition inside and out. It has only been hand washed (and it’s been regularly hand waxed) and was properly broken-in. Just after break-in, the GR86 had an early first oil change using the correct synthetic oil and a factory oil filter (October 20, 2022 with 1266 miles on the odometer). The gearbox and differential fluids were changed to Redline MT-LV and Redline 75W85 at the same time. The car has always been properly warmed-up (low revs until warm, etc.) and never abused or used on a track. Only premium (93 octane) ‘Top Tier’ gasoline has been put in the fuel tank. You will not find a Toyota GR86 that’s had better care or maintenance.
The Toyota GR86 is stock other than professionally installed heated front seats, MTEC clutch spring (for better clutch feel), grey 18” factory Subaru BRZ wheels (with factory Toyota center caps, factory Toyota TPMS sensors, and OE-spec Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tires), Subaru BRZ body-color (silver) side mirror caps, and a Battery Tender-brand trickle charger quick connect (for winter storage, etc.). All items can easily be removed, if one wishes (all original parts are included in the sale). Additionally, the rear factory ‘GR86’ badge and the accessory factory door edge guards were professionally removed (and are included).
This Toyota 86 has always been stored in a climate-controlled environment and on a battery tender when not in use. It has always been garaged (both day and night) and regularly hand washed (it’s never been through a car wash). And it’s never seen snow or salt. The Michelin Pilot Sport 4 summer tires installed on the grey factory Subaru BRZ 18-inch alloy wheels are in excellent condition. The OE 17” alloy wheels with OE Michelin Primacy HP summer tires are brand new (never used). All eight (8) wheels have zero curb damage and have never been damaged/repaired.
Included are two (2) original keys, two (2) sets of factory Toyota floor mats (carpet and all-weather rubber—the rubber mats have never been used), two (2) cargo mats (carpet and all-weather rubber—both have never been used), 17-inch Toyota OE wheels/tires (never used), all books/manuals, factory front plate frame (never installed), and the original window sticker. Additionally, all the shipping stickers/decals/paperwork (and the rear ‘GR86’ badge) that were on the car when it shipped from Japan are included (see photos).
The original Toyota factory bumper-to-bumper warranty is valid until February 2025 (or 36,000 miles) and the Toyota factory powertrain warranty is valid until March of 2027 (or 60,000 miles). And factory Toyota free servicing program is active until February 2024.
