This 1957 Jaguar XK140 MC Roadster was completed at Browns Lane in Coventry England on October 11, 1956. It was then imported to the USA by Jaguar Cars New York. This XK140 was originally finished in Cream with Black interior and a Black convertible top. The current colors are Jaguar period-correct—Pastel Blue exterior with Dark Blue/Grey interior and Dark Blue top and Tonneau cover.

The first owner of this Jaguar was a doctor who lived in Beloit, Wisconsin. In 2016, this XK140 MC Roadster was purchased by a current client of Fox Motorsports from noted California Jaguar specialists, Classic Showcase. At the time the car was purchased, it had covered a mere 100 miles since a full restoration (details below). It stayed with our client in California until 2020 when that client shipped their Jaguar to Grand Rapids, Michigan.

This XK140 MC Roadster is in excellent condition and has been kept under our fastidious direct care since arrival in Grand Rapids in 2020. The body work and paint are finished to a high standard, complimented by excellent chrome and interior details. It has had regular cleaning including annual waxing and chrome polishing regardless of use. Regular servicing and mechanical work have been performed by Fox Motorsports (see below work list). The car starts, runs, and drives as it should and has covered 2400 miles since 2016. This XK140 MC Roadster has never been driven in snow/salt and has always been kept in climate-controlled storage (and on a battery tender) when not in use.

Items included with the car: copy of Jaguar Heritage Certificate, carpet floor mats, side curtains (never used/as new), cockpit tonneau cover, tool kit, spare wheel/tire, and owner’s manual.
