SOLD

This 1974 Mini was purchased out of Texas by the present owner in July of 2002 with only 20 miles since being fully updated to 1999/2000 specification (Mk VII Mini specification, the final spec before the new Mini was launched by BMW in 2001 in Europe and 2002 in the USA). This Mini lived in Florida until recently being brought up to Michigan. It has never seen salt/snow and it’s been regularly serviced as needed.  This Mini has all the charm of the older versions but with the reliability and comfort updates to make the car useable.

The current condition of the car is excellent.  As you walk around the car nothing is out of place, the panel gaps are uniform, and the paint is clean and bright.  There is a little fogging in the clear coat just in front of the driver’s side rear wheel, but otherwise no other cosmetic issues of note.  The interior is remarkable, with no significant wear other than wood trim that shows a small amount of delamination around the glove box.  An alarm/immobilizer system is present and activated by remote.  An Alpine CD stereo is fitted as well.  The Mini runs great and is fully serviced, ready to go.
