This 2006 Ford GT was ordered to spec and delivered new to an excellent client of Fox Motorsports on April 7, 2005 at North Brothers Ford in Westland, Michigan with 15 miles on the odometer. The Ford GT was then transported by enclosed carrier to the owner’s storage building in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where it was kept in climate-controlled storage.
In May of 2011, Fox Motorsports facilitated the sale of the Ford GT from the original owner to another good client. The car had 68 miles at the time of sale in 2011 and has been under our care ever since, including annual servicing despite the ultra-low miles (most recent service: September 2017).
This Ford GT is in excellent condition inside and out and is 100% stock. It has always been stored in a climate-controlled environment and connected to a battery charger when not in use. It has never touched snow or salt or rain and has only ever been hand washed and waxed. It has never been tracked or abused. The original Goodyear tires have excellent tread depth. Included are all original keys, books, records, window sticker copy, copies of all sale paperwork since new, copies of all original shipping decals, original dealer numbers set decals (in box), Ford car cover and bag, etc.
The “Heritage Edition” was a rare, $13,000 option on the Ford GT. Only 343 cars were built with the retro “Gulf Blue” color setup. The ultra-low miles along with the known pedigree from new make this example one of the best.
